Wonders of the Earth (My Poem)

Come, see the spendour of the earth!
The seas,hills,deserts,plains and plateaus.

Stand by the whispering sea shore,
As she call out to u
Rest at the foot of a silent mountain 
As he thunders gently.
She shouts out to you
Reach my top and explore my beauty.

Sit at the corner of a desert,
She says to you
Cross me on a camel back with ample drinking water
                    or you will strive for it.
Whenever there's a oasis rest a while.

Be on the top of the plateau,
She crys out to you
We are covered with red soil and full of mineral ores.
We are not as high as hills but also not as low as plains.

Stay on the fertile soil of plains,
She speaks out to you
The rich crops that grows, the rivers that flows through us,
 Provide serene and calm atmosphere amicable to all

Little chit chat of yesteryear

Gone are the carefree days of school . Those days were tension free and of no responsibility. Now it seems it was a period of previous life period. We only had to think about our studies and nothing else. At times it seems very tough but at that time didn't know the real tough time lies later. At times my old school teachers come to memory. With a smile I remember my class teacher of std XI and XII , Sister Joan. I was so quiet in class that when one day she saw me speaking to my friend in the class , instead of scolding me she said, "Madhumita.... You are talking talk! talk ! talk!" Life of a good man

The span of a life of a man is very short. But it is very precious. In this small period of his life he has so much to do to prove himself a worthy being of this earth. He has to gather the good of others to be a good human. He has hardly any time to criticize others. He will sing, dance, laugh, make merry and be happy and never be sad. I feel everything on this earth has a good as well as bad side. We should always take the good of everything. This should be our motto in life. Only then can we stand out as a good human.
